This page is for Magic Wars by McAuley Games
(package com.mcauleygames.magicwars). The game stores one thing
off your device: a leaderboard entry, and only if you chose to post one.
Here is how to have it removed.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] with the subject Magic Wars leaderboard deletion.
- In the message, give the exact name as it appears on the leaderboard. That name is the only thing that identifies the entry, so without it the right row cannot be found.
- The entry is deleted within 30 days, and you get a reply confirming it. There is no account to close and nothing else to do.
There is no charge, and no reason has to be given.
What gets deleted
The whole leaderboard row, which is everything the game has ever sent about you:
- The name you typed when posting
- The deepest tier that name reached
- How long that run took
- Which faction you played
- The timestamp of when the row was last updated
Once deleted it is gone from the live database. Nothing is kept behind, and no copy is retained for any additional period.
What is not held in the first place
There is nothing else to delete, because nothing else is ever collected. Magic Wars has no accounts and no analytics, and it never sends your email address, phone number, contacts, location, device identifiers, advertising ID, photos or files anywhere.
Your own game progress — coins, career level, unlocked packs, settings and daily streak — is saved only on your phone and is never transmitted to us. To erase that, uninstall the game or clear its data in Android Settings; it goes with the app and we could not delete it for you even if you asked.
Deleting without emailing anyone
A leaderboard entry only exists once you post a run. If you would rather not be on the board at all, simply do not post — the game plays exactly the same either way and never contacts the internet on its own.
