mcauleygames.com — Website Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 13, 2026

This website (mcauleygames.com) is operated by McAuley Games (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what data is collected when you visit this website and play the games embedded on it, and your choices.

Advertising & Cookies

This site runs Google AdSense’s ad-serving script. Ads may not yet be visibly displayed while our account is pending Google’s approval, but the script is active on every page now, so this section describes current, not future, practice.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites, measure ad performance, and limit how often you see a given ad.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, you’ll be shown a consent prompt on your first visit with a direct option to consent, decline, or manage your choices — you can reopen and change your choice at any time via the cookie/privacy preferences link Google’s consent tool displays on this site.

You can also opt out of personalized advertising generally via Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or www.aboutads.info/choices.

What We Collect Ourselves

The website itself is minimal: it does not run any analytics tool (no Google Analytics, GTM, or similar), and it has no account or login system.

Basic web server request logging (IP address, timestamp, requested page) happens at the infrastructure level through our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) as part of normal operation of any website — this is covered by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy, not this one, the same way our Android app’s Google Play distribution is covered by Google Play’s policy rather than the app’s own.

Magic Wars stores one small preference (whether you last used fullscreen mode) in your browser’s local storage — this stays on your device and is never sent to us. It also collects gameplay data for its online leaderboard — a name you type in, your tier, your time, your chosen faction, and a randomly generated install ID (not tied to your real identity) — regardless of whether you’re playing via this website or the Android app. That collection is described in the Magic Wars Android app privacy policy, which applies equally here.

Tower Defense of Ages makes no network calls of its own and has no leaderboard or accounts. It stores one small preference (whether you’ve seen the tutorial) in your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device. It does load two Google Fonts families from Google’s font CDN for its title and body text — the game still works without them, it just loses that typeface — and that CDN request is Google’s to log, not something we see or store.

Your Rights

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data under GDPR/UK-GDPR, and to withdraw cookie consent at any time. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA where applicable), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we learn a child has provided personal data (e.g. typed a name into the leaderboard) without appropriate consent, we will delete it on request — contact us at [email protected].

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
